Michael Buble isn’t just a Grammy winning artist. He’s a hockey player too! Well, kind of.
Despite being expected to play on the ice as part of the Kevin Bieksa Buddies charities event last night, he sat this one out.
According to the Vancouver Sun, Buble wanted to take part in the action, but just couldn’t get the nerves to do so.
Honestly, I wanted to play but I think I wimped out a bit. Nerves got the best of me. But I’m glad I didn’t. It was fast, even faster than a lot of the boys actually thought it would be. If this was my only chance to watch NHL hockey this year, I surely didn’t want to mess it up.
Well, that’s too bad. It would have been fun to see him in action. It looks like he would’ve wowed the crowd.
Though he didn’t show his skills on the ice, he did show his generosity at the event by donating $100,000 to the Canuck charities. He matched the original $100,000 that was raised through ticket sales for the game.
Buble still had fun on the sidelines and was joined by other Canuck players. I’m sure wifey Luisana Lopilato wouldn’t want her husband getting rough on the ice anyhow.
I guess Michael should just keep continue hitting the charts, since he’s not hitting any pucks. Check out the gallery to see Buble supporting the players at the hockey game!
