Flanked by her two co-stars, Meryl Streep, was radiant in black as she posed on the red carpet with Rita Wilson and Alexandra Wentworth. While the ladies were dressed all in black, they couldn’t have looked less somber, with big smiles on their faces.
The two actors facing off in the film’s love triangle, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, had nothing but good things to say about one another and expressed their excitement at co-hosting the 82nd Annual Academy Awards.
Baldwin tells USA Today, “We feel really good with each other.” He adds, “Hopefully (Martin) and I will have fun and be funny but remember that it’s also a very prestigious award and we want to make it very dignified, as well.”
But the real story of romance on the red carpet was for true-life couple, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, were all aglow and cuddly on the red carpet. John offered his opinion on how to make a relationship work, humor. The star of The Office surmises, “When you laugh it releases the tension and you can get through anything.”
