Red Riding Hood‘s Max Irons says there is no rivalry between himself and co-star Shiloh Fernandez. Instead, the two worked together to enhance the quality of the film. According to Contact Music, Irons said, “I think we both wanted the same thing which is to make a good film and the best way to do that is to talk about what’s going on with our characters and not just stand there and look angrily at each other.”
Does Irons think fans are as rabid about Red Riding Hood as they are about Twilight? Not even close, he says. “I don’t think we’re going to have to because that’s a unique thing that has happened and this is a standalone film. I just want to keep making movies and I don’t think you can expect or plan for something like that.”
