Ahead of Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ May 20th season premiere on E!, the Kardashian/Disick/Jenner clan packed up and headed east to New York City. Yeppers, they were all accounted for on the island of Manhattan: Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Scott Disick, Mason Disick and Lamar Odom. No idea where Bruce Jenner was. Collecting everyone’s luggage, maybe?
Kim and Khloe recently gave an interview to Paper Magazine (via the Huffington Post) about how the internet has increased their level of fame. Kim’s fascination with social media platforms started way before Twitter. ”Oh my God, I was obsessed with Friendster,” Kim told Paper. ”Then I was obsessed with MySpace. I remember working in my Dad’s office and finding people on Friendster from high school.”
When Kim explained that she sometimes deletes certain tweets because she doesn’t want to offend her fans, Khloe chimed in. ”I don’t delete things. You look like such a little punk when you delete things. Our brother Rob deletes almost every tweet, and follows people and then un-follows them. If he’s in the mood to just date random people, he follows them, then un-follows. He un-follows me like once a month. He’s bipolar on Twitter.” Poor Rob.
And what about those negative tweets that get a little too personal? Does Kim respond? ”I love writing them back,” she said. ”People will write me, ‘My phone battery lasts longer than Kim Kardashian’s marriage,’ and I’ll write back, ‘Oh, which phone is that?’
“When people are so stupid, you just have to have fun with it. Someone [without a profile photo] will say I’m fat, or a hairy Armenian, and I’ll write back, “Oh, that egg picture of yours is so gorgeous.’” Good one.
