Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Inception debuted last weekend, bringing in $62.8 million which continued to grow through mid-week ticket sales.

But this weekend the Christopher Nolan directed dream within a dream will be challenged by a super spy, clad in leather to unite women and make men drool in the name of Evelyn Salt.

Expected to bring in $35 million to $40 million in opening weekend ticket sales, Angelina Jolie stars in Sony Pictures’ Salt, about a CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy.

What you didn’t know is that Evelyn Salt was a man.

No, not in a transsexual way! The original script accused Edwin A. Salt, husband and father, of being a Russian spy and was intended for the [in]sane Tom Cruise. But Tom Tom made a career decision and decided to bite the hand that fed him, defer from the spy hard genre and decline the role, according to the LA Times.

So to save their film, Sony adds cleavage and lip gloss and throws Salt into a skirt! …Not exactly.

Angelina eagerly took a break from mommy duty to get a few cuts and scrapes of her own. Evelyn Salt is bad ass. Angelina, far from Charlie’s Angel and a stunt woman in the making, followed the evolving dark script to become the first spy girl of the summer.

Also in theaters is Ramona and Beezus, starring Selena Gomez. Either you’re a Beverly Cleary old school reader or not on this one.
