After a brief overview of Elizabeth Olsen‘s IMDB resume, it’s safe to say that her new movie, Martha Marcy May Marlene may be her most successful yet. That’s not to say that How The West Was Fun and The Adventures Of Mary-Kate And Ashley: The Case Of The Mystery Cruise weren’t great films, because they were. Although if we’re going back that far, I’d put To Grandmother’s House We Go at the top of the list.
That was fun. Now that Olsen’s a little older, she’s ready to dive into some heavier roles. Her film, Martha Marcy May Marlene drummed up a lot of buzz during this year’s Sundance Film Festival. So much so that Fox Searchlight just acquired worldwide rights to it, according to Deadline New York. The drama, co-starring the deliciously English Hugh Dancy,is about a woman who flees a cult and tries to adjust to real life. She finds herself facing enormous challenges while trying to assimilate with her family.
Not so at Sundance for Mary-Kate and Ashley‘s younger sister. She was spotted enjoying herself at this year’s film festival.
