Mark Wahlberg Helps A Nun Cross The Street. Seriously. [PHOTOS]

What a good Catholic boy.

Mark Wahlberg ditched his tough guy image as he helped an elderly nun cross the street after attending a Sunday church service in Miami on April 21, 2012.

The elderly nun, who was using the assistance of a walker, was given a helping hand from the buffed up star as he helped her safely across the street.

Wahlberg could become a door-to-door beauty salesman in upcoming comedy Avon Man. The Contraband star is rumoured to be in talks to play the lead and produce the film with director Stephen Levinson, reported Deadline

He would portray an unemployed car dealer who reluctantly becomes an Avon salesman, and even convinces his macho jobless friends to join him.

Hugh Jackman had previously been attached to the lead role, with Kevin Lima to direct, but plans changed when the actor left for The Wolverine.

Mark – who is currently filming Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – will next appear in comedy Ted and crime drama Broken City.
