Marion Cotillard Makes Us Thankful That Uggs Weren’t Around 90 Years Ago [PHOTOS]

The Jazz Age
Vanity Fair goes retro for it's Hollywood Issue.
Marion Cotillard kept warm in between takes of an untitled James Gray project, co-starring Joaquin Phoenix and Jeremy Renner.

Gray, who directed Phoenix in Two Lovers and We Own The Night, talked with his actors in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park yesterday (January 30th), while extras sat by in their flapper finest.  I’m really thinking about investing in a head piece after looking at these photos.

Cottilard plays Sonya Cybulski, an immigrant who is tricked into a life of burlesque and vaudeville by Phoenix’s character until a magician (Renner) tries to save her and reunite her with her sister who is being held in confinement on Ellis Island.
