With her hair scraped back into a unfussy ponytail, wearing a modest black dress and sunglasses, Carey attended with X-Factor judge L.A Reid.
Carey’s husband Nick Cannon talked of Mariah learning about Houston’s death. He told E! Online, “It was tough for many reasons. One, knowing how close my wife and Whitney were, and I was in the hospital during the time, and that’s where we got the news.
“I was kinda in a life-threatening situation and then to see that, it was kind of bizarre and sad at the same time, but you know, it’s part of life and it makes you step back and reflect and appreciate every day for what it is.”
Appearing to wear the same outfit that she wore to Whitney’s funeral, Carey was spotted having dinner at Cipriani’s in Soho with a friend.
