But like, how catchy is the song “Rude” by MAGIC!? Admit you catch yourself humming its tune…

Well it’s no wonder since the song is No.1 on Billboard’s Hot 100! The band has some tough competition in Iggy Azalea‘s summer hit and Sam Smith‘s “Stay With Me,” but “Rude” continues to stay at the top for its fifth consecutive week now!

The Canadian quartet were spotting filming a music video in Los Angeles yesterday, and one of them was shirtless! They looked like they were having a great time shooting their new vid. They were also sported chatting up some female actresses that were also part of the video.

The five band members, Nasri AtwehAlex Tanas, Mark Pellizzer, Ben Spivak, and Mark Pelli all wore colourful outfits for the shoot,  and we even got to see some of their shirtless bodies. We especially got to see lead singer, Nasri’s body as he changed from outfit to outfit!

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the lead vocalist, who dropped his last name because he thought it was “cooler,” shares his stories about working with Chris Brown and Justin Bieber. Nasri said:

The funny thing is, Chris Brown is just a music lover. He loves making music — he sits in the studio all day. Justin is a lot more like me: What he likes is more soulful, and his personality is out-there. I spent probably the most time with Justin out of everyone, because I did a lot of Justin’s records. I look at him like a little brother.

When asked about what he thought about Justin and his recent drama, he said:

I just text him: “Are you cool?” He’s like, “Yeah, I’m cool.” It’s none of my business.  He’s a grown man.

Nasri also admitted that MAGIC!’s “Rude” was originally written about a mean ex-girlfriend and that he thinks “it’s got some swag to it.” If you’ve never heard the song before, check out the video below!
