‘Magic Mike’ In Berlin, Plus More Details On Channing Tatum Vs. Alex Pettyfer [PHOTOS]
“Channing and Alex had a fight while filming,” a source close to the movie told Page Six. “Those around them tried to mend their relationship, but Channing doesn’t want anything to do with Alex.” Pettyfer has a reputation in Hollywood for being difficult to work with, so this story isn’t help matters.
A Tatum rep denied any bad blood between his client and Pettyfer, saying, “This isn’t true.” Producer Nick Wechsler told Page Six, “Alex was a great pro to work with. He did everything that we asked for, was completely prepared and well-mannered. We have no idea where these false stories are coming from.”
What’s more, Pettyfer did not appear on the Magic Mike cover of Entertainment Weekly, despite having a key role in the movie. “Channing said he didn’t want to do [the shoot] if Alex was there,” the source added. “Alex is known in Hollywood for being rude and difficult.”
Pettyfer’s rep shot down this piece of news. “They were all offered the cover, and everyone was happy to do it with everyone else. Alex was unavailable to travel to New York . . . because he had another commitment that he couldn’t get out of. It was purely a logistical issue that prevented Alex from getting there.”
