Maggie Gyllenahaal recently posed for the lingerie line, Agent Provocateur, joining such illustrious sirens like Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue and Dita Von Teese, each of whom have posed for the line in the past. The actress was chosen to be the new face of their latest ad campaign based on Maggie’s quirky looks and her general appeal to both sexes.
Serena Rees, co-founder of Agent Provocateur, said: “Maggie is not an obvious sex symbol.”
“She is interesting looking, confident and beautiful in a way that is non-threatening, which makes her appealing to men and women alike.”
Whether or not Maggie’s your particular cup of tea, I have to give her props for having the balls to pose in some sexy underwear for all the world to see after having had a baby nearly a year ago. Lord knows, I don’t have any kids and you still wouldn’t catch me dead allowing myself to be photographed looking all Lady Marmalade and stuff. Unless there’s another Lady Marmalade who likes to be surrounded by walls built of jars of preserves. That, I could handle.
