Madonna And Guy Ritchie Say That The Money Is Wrong

December 17th, 2008 // Leave a Comment

Madonna and the gotta be smirking Guy Ritchie have issued a joint statement claiming that the reported figures in their divorce settlement aren’t accurate. The initial claim was that Guy is getting between $76 and $92 million, which also includes property. It was Madonna’s longtime publicist Liz Rosenberg who gave the AP this figure, so there might be a middle-aged lady who’s going to end up on the public dole because Madge don’t forgive that easily. Ask her brother, Sandra Bernhard, Dennis Rodman, any of her family, any people she associated with in NYC in the 80s, and the legions of employees she’s fired including all of the backup dancers she never speaks to ever again after the tours over.

“A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the
sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week.
The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement.
Our primary concern, like any co-parents, is the care and well being of our children,” the statement read.

They’re hanging out for the holidays. So an obviously chagrined lately Madonna must have typed while he walked around with a footie ball, throwing it up into the air and catching it and laughing as he corrected her punctuation and jokingly asked her if she wanted to go for a pint after this.
