Despite her 52 years, Madonna isn’t going to just settle into JC Penny clothes any time soon. She presented an award last night in New York at the Fashion Delivers Gala in a pair of over-the-knee Stella McCartney CFM boot, topped with some sort of silver crocheted tunic. Honestly she looked like one of those Japanese robots.
And in true Madonna fashion, she completely overshadowed the award winner, Iconix Brand Chairman Neil Cole, who just looked weird standing next to the singer.
Fashion Delivers is a charitable foundation through which manufacturers can donate clothing to disaster victims. Because what they need is haute couture clothing? I know Hurricane Katrina victims were seriously in need of Chanel in the wake of that disaster.
