While they may have only been ruffles, Madonna looked as if she was covered in birds at the premiere of W.E. at the Ziegfeld Theater last night (January 23) in New York City.
Madonna went for a sheer black Marchesa black and grey gown with a lace and sequin encrusted bodice with a shroud like ruffled wrap on the sleeves. The director had some fun on the red carpet by making some very animated faces.
Madonna greeted actor James D’Arcy, the lead actor in her film W.E., with a warm kiss and a hug at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York. Lead actress Andrea Riseborough was also on hand for the premiere.
It must have been a very important evening for Madonna, because her daughter Lourdes Leon and boy toy boyfriend Brahim Zaibat were also in attendance. They did not walk the red carpet, but were spotted leaving the film’s after party at the BOOM BOOM Room inside the Standard Hotel.
I must say, even though he’s a boy toy, Brahmim is quite the looker.
