Lynne Spears Gives Her Side of the Story

June 13th, 2007 // 3 Comments

Us Weekly sat down and let Britney Spears’ mother spill her guts about the steps she’s currently taking to mend her relationship with her pop star daughter, since their falling out over Britney’s stay in rehab. In her interview, Lynne talked about her sadness that her daughter’s mistakes were being made in public and scrutinized the world over. And when Britney had her now famous meltdown, which included shaving off her hair and attacking the paparazzi with an umbrella (ellah, ellah, ellah, eh), she decided to make some drastic changes in her life.

“She decided that she had to cut out everyone who was using her, and that included her parents,” says a source of Spears, 26.

The estrangement was especially hard on the pop star’s mother.

“Lynne was like Britney’s best friend, so when Britney started partying and her mom tried to control her, she got mad,” a family source explains.

See, this is why I get annoyed with these show moms. If Britney needed another friend, I’m sure she could easily find one on MySpace. But finding a replacement for a mom who actually knows when to put her food down is a smidge more difficult. Dina Lohan, Lynne Spears and Kathy Hilton should open up a day-care center. You know, because it couldn’t be a worse idea.

Sure, sure. Dina–er, I mean– Lynn tried to calm Britney down about her partying? Ah HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!

Sure, sure, I say again. This from the mother that pimped out her young teenager in short-shorts and schoolgirl skirts to perverted men? AHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!! *ROFL!!*

Oh Lynn, you sad, harpy bitch, you.

All that’s true too, aHH, the price of fame and fortune. However, I am glad that Lynne Spears did what she had to do!

Don’t wimp out now Lynne that Britney’s not speaking to you. Hold your ground and go on and live your life. Britney knew she was out of controtl, she may not have wanted to go into rehab, but she was out of control and it was your duty as her mother to tell her so.

Hang in there, and when she’s ready to talk she will come to you. THEY ALWAYS DO. CASE IN POINT. “IT’S NOT RIGHT!-MOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I WANT MY MOMMMMMMMMMIE!’

Hang in there Lynnee and don’t capitulate because Britney’s not speaking ot you or because she holds the money bags. Money doesn’t rule when you’re a mother…..or does it? Hello Dina Lohan. This too shall pass. It’s la la Land for sure.
