If Lindsay Lohan is charged with lying to police about an accident she was involved in, as TMZ.com has reported, she may find herself in serious trouble with a judge.

Earlier this month, TMZ stated that the Liz & Dick actress is expected to be charged for, allegedly, falsely claiming that she was a passenger in a Porsche that struck a dump truck near Los Angeles in June, and not the driver.

On Monday, the website further reported that once charges are filed against Lohan and she is arraigned, a judge will revoke her informal probation in a 2011 shoplifting case.

Lindsay has been on probation since being found guilty of stealing a necklace in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service.

TMZ says the charges will be filed “soon.”

Friends close to the actress previously said she was “terrified” about her probation being revoked as she is trying to get her life back on track.

Personally I think she needs to do some serious jail time before she’s going to be able to turn her life around. What are your thoughts on this? Share them in the comments below.
