Red Carpet Rewind: 2003 Screen Actors Guild Awards [PHOTOS]

Ten years ago, Friends and Sex and The City were still on the air, and Chicago was the musical on everyone’s mind.  It was the 9th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at LA’s Shrine Auditorium, and the stars were lovin’ each other like it was the new millenium (zing!).

One thing remains consistent: Daniel Day-Lewis is still one of the best actors in the world.  That year, he picked up Outstanding Actor in a Lead Role for Gangs of New York

A Valentino-clad/sour-pout Renee Zellweger picked up Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role for Chicago, and co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones (heavily pregnant) scored Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role.

For some reason, Everybody Loves Raymond beat out Sex and The City, Friends and Will & Grace for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy.  I only have people my parents’ age to blame for that.

One thing is for sure: Jennifer Aniston’s body refuses to age.  It just simply stays frozen in time while her hair color does all the work.
