London’s Celebrity Big Brother Four

January 9th, 2006 // 2 Comments

Or Celebrity D-List Big Brother Four. The cast includes as shown above Dead Or Alive’s Pete Burns, Traci Bingham, Rula Lenska, and cast members not shown include Chantelle, Dennis Rodman, Jodie Marsh and Michael Barrymore. The show seems to be a tasty delight with some nice twist and emotional baggage.

In footage filmed on Saturday, Barrymore has hit out at the way he was “vilified” after a man was found dead in his swimming pool.

The troubled 53-year-old told fellow contestants he was guilty of nothing except stupidity over the demise of father-of-two Stuart Lubbock.

In an emotional discussion with 80s pop star Pete Burns, Barrymore said he was “sick” of being kicked around by the press.

He talked about being branded a killer, and expressed the view that the press will not be happy until he commits suicide.

He also admitted fleeing the scene of the incident in 2001 was a mistake, blaming being terrified, drunk and under the influence of cannabis, according to a Channel 4 spokeswoman.

Barrymore’s career collapsed after 31-year-old Mr Lubbock’s body was discovered in the swimming pool at his £1.5m (EUR2.2m) Essex mansion.
