Lindsay Lohan Not Getting Blamed For Missing Jewelry

June 18th, 2009 // 2 Comments

Single-and-hating-it starlet Lindsay Lohan is getting some welcome good news in regards to some lost jewelry.

Originally reported as being worth $50,000, the New York Daily News claims that the value of the Dior jewelry missing after a June 6 photo shoot for Elle in London is more like $500,000.

However, fingers aren’t being pointed at the freckled starlet, despite her checkered past. A spokesperson for the fashion magazine revealed, “Elle has no reason to believe that Lindsay Lohan was in any way responsible and has no further comment to make.”

Well, at least we know she wouldn’t have any place to conceal them on her person. Girlfriend is skinny as hell and prone to shirtlessness.

Of course she’s not, but the story did it’s job right…exposure and hype. Like Will Smith’s wife said…when they stop talking that’s when your in trouble.

The fact that Elle Magazine is not blaming Lindsay for the missing jewels is meaningless:

those jewels did not belong to Elle Magazine and it certainly isn’t footing the bill.

the owner of those jewels will make an insurance claim and you can be as sure as hell the insurance company is going to go to the police, hire detectives and find out the truth.
