Lights. Camera. Save The World, Wonder Woman!

Adrianne Palicki got into character on the set of Wonder Woman, the television reboot we’re hoping won’t sink.  It’s a new era of female empowerment, but the bustier remains the same.  The first thing that came to mind when I saw stills from shooting was, “How does she fight crime without flashing the camera?” This, my friends, is what makes Wonder Wonder our modern-day superhero.

Playing Wonder Woman’s nemisis Veronica Cale is Elizabeth Hurley, who we’re assuming will adhere to the same skintight dresscode.  Once she got word of her new role, Hurley tweeted to fans, “Thrilled to be doing the new NBC pilot, Wonder Woman.”

Fox released a statement critiquing the revamped Wonder Woman costume:

‘The new and allegedly improved Wonder Woman (a.k.a Diana Prince) has been given a head-to-toe makeover by artist Jim Lee, replacing her signature American flag decorated briefs with skintight…pants and purging the super hero of all her trappings of Americana.”

Hush Fox.  Don’t rain on our PVC parade.
