Leona Lewis Says Her Version Of ‘We Found Love’ Was Better Than Rihanna’s [QUOTED]

Leona Lewis, seen here today (October 15, 2012) at a CD signing in London, has told the Daily Star that she was the first to lend her vocals to “We Found Love,” Rihanna‘s smash hit, penned by Calvin Harris and ultimately released by Rihanna. In the same interview, the 27-year-old X Factor winner was also quoted as saying:

“I didn’t commit to it because I wanted Trouble to be my first single so I think that was another reason they went with Rihanna. It was the same version and production but mine’s better.”

The song became a smash hit after its release in September 2011, reaching the top chart spot in 25 countries and selling over 6.5 million copies.

Lewis has also stated that she still has the recording, but would never be so unprofessional as to leak it. She has stated that her version is better, but admits that it may not have done as well as Rihanna’s rendition.

Why do I have a feeling that Leona Lewis’ version will somehow now be leaked?
