Lea Michele Talks About How Beautiful Cory Monteith Made Her Feel & What Show She Would Love To Appear On

Did You Hear?
Lea Michele & Adam Lambert did an amazing cover.
Raise your hand if your heart breaking a little every time you hear something new about Cory Monteith.

His incredible voice was my favorite part of majority of the songs on Glee. Renditions for “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and “Jessie’s Girl” that feature him give me the most bittersweet feelings.

Of course, when Lea Michele speaks out about him, the creeping melancholia returns. Covering the April 2014 issue of Seventeen Magazine, Michele opened up a little more about her deceased boyfriend.

She said, “Cory made me feel like a queen every day. ” Not only did he make her feel like a queen, but she thanks “for being the best boyfriend” and making her feel so beautiful.

Where do I cut out my sobbing heart to hand it over to her?

In case you didn’t know, her song “If You Say So” was written in memory of Monteith. When it comes to keeping his memory alive, in reference to her music, the singer explained, “I also feel an incredible, happy responsibility to keep the memory and light of [Cory, who] was the most amazing person. I’m so happy to make it my journey now to continue on and live my life as best as I can.”

The song written for him is both therapeutic and difficult for her to listen to. “It’s been therapy for me in the entire grieving process and in my entire life,” Michele told Billboard.

One dream she hasn’t fulfilled just yet is making an appearance on American Horror Story. She says she asks Ryan Murphy if she can make an appearance all the time. Maybe we’ll see her in season five!
