There’s no denying the fact that Lea Michele has had a rough year. Well, at least a rough latter half of the year.

The Glee star seems to have finally bounced back following the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith back in July, but it’s nice that she finally gets to take a break.

And from the looks of it, she’s taking a lovely one. Lea posted this on Twitter:

Can someone get me a fire to hang out by? Lea might seem happy right now, but I bet she shed a few tears when she heard what Ryan Murphy’s original ending for Glee was. In a piece about Cory Monteith for this week’s Entertainment Weekly, the Glee creator revealed how the show was supposed to end, and that Lea’s Rachel and Cory’s Finn would finally be together again. Get ready for tears:

“At the end of season 6, Lea [Michele]‘s Rachel was going to have become a big Broadway star, the role she was born to play. Finn was going to have become a teacher, settled down happily in Ohio, at peace with his choice and no longer feeling like a Lima loser. The very last line of dialogue was to be this: Rachel comes back to Ohio, fulfilled and yet not, and walks into Finn’s glee club. ‘What are you doing here?’ he would ask. ‘I’m home,’ she would reply. Fade out. The end.”

Excuse me, I’ll just be over here crying into some eggnog cheesecake. That would have been a pretty perfect ending. Now I just want to know how they end it for real. What do you guys think? Let us know your thoughts and share in our tears in the comments below.
