Lauren Bacall Deems Tom Cruise Vulgar

August 2nd, 2005 // 5 Comments

We always knew we loved Lauren Bacall. Last fall, while promoting the film Birth, Ms. Bacall stated that Nicole Kidman is not a legend. The girl is still showing some spunk, and in an interview with Time Magazine she goes off on Tom Cruise.

“When you talk about a great actor, you’re not talking about Tom Cruise.” “His whole behavior is so shocking,” she says. “It’s inappropriate and vulgar and absolutely unacceptable to use your private life to sell anything commercially, but I think it’s kind of a sickness.”

I’m sure there are some vitamins that Tom can take to help him with his sickness. I’m waiting for Kelly Preston to weigh in on this one.

Not only do we share our first name, now we share our hatred of Tom. Couldnt agree with her more!

Lauren Bacall Rocks. I love how she has called Tom on his BS. As for Nicole, she isn’t a legend…yet. Give her another 30 to 40 years before applying that label.

You go Lauren! It’s about time someone in Holywood called Tom Cruise on his ridiculous behavior!

Now there´s a legend! That is so cool. Finally someone has the guts to say the truth about the Hollywood top crowd for a change, instead everybody just kissing a.. all the time. Usually, once somebody befriends Steven Spielberg, NOOOObody ever says a nasty word about them again. ANd she´s right; Tom is pathetic, a grown man freaking out because he found an insecure, naïve girl to worhship him while he turns her in to a scifi-drone

  5. uhm, Yeah

    Yay!!!! Go Go Bacall!
