And I want to be there when it happens. From ComingSoon.net:
Production has begun on the CBS reality series “Armed and Famous,” which follows five “celebrities” as they train to become police officers in Muncie, Ind. Erik Estrada — who played a freeway patrolman on “CHiPs” — is undergoing police training with singer La Toya Jackson, son-of-Ozzy Jack Osbourne, pro wrestler Trish Stratus and “Jackass” star Jason Acuna (aka Wee Man). “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” alum Tom Forman is behind the show, which he’ll executive produce along with Jeffrey Kramer and Michael Braverman (who created the show). Tom Forman Productions and Magic Molehill Productions are behind “Armed and Famous.” “Armed and Famous” will follow the five stars as they experience the same training police reserve officers go through, followed by graduation. After that, the celebs will go on patrol (while carrying guns) with the same training officers who traditionally ride with rookies.
This news clearly proves that hunger strikes do work and that my desperate pleas to get LaToya’s crazy ass on the air were heard. My imagination is already running wild and there’s no way the show can possibly live up to the wild and crazy antics I’ve already begun choreographing in my head. But if at the very least, LaToya Jackson can spend the duration of the show dressed in a “sexy cop” stripper’s outfit, I can die in peace.
