Larry David Is One Busy Guy

Between upcoming guest spots on kids’ TV shows, and helping clear men of murder charges, Larry David’s got such a packed schedule. I hope he’s alloted some time to work on his taxes. (Sorry about bringing up the T-word, but I’m in the midst of itemizing my deductions and I’m mildly obsessed…)

Footage from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” that never made it into an episode of the show was however useful in proving that Juan Catalan did not commit a murder for which he was accused and also helped Catalan win a $320,000 settlement with Los Angeles over a police misconduct suit. The Boston Herald reports:

The scene, which ended up on the cutting room floor, showed Catalan with his 6-year-old daughter and two friends. The footage was time coded, confirming that Catalan was at the ballpark shortly before the time of the murder 20 miles away.

Ah, that reminds me of the two times I was an extra on The Shield. But it’s a good thing I was never accused of anything because in both scenes, I was being led away in handcuffs. Damn racial profiling…

Additionally, Mr. David has plans to guest star on the the Disney Channel show, “Hannah Montana,” as himself. David will be joined on the show by two daughters, who are both big fans of the show starring Billy Ray Cyrus’ teenage daughter, Miley. Maybe it’s because I’m running out of material, or just plain sleepy, but all I can think about is how I want my own TV show in which I play a character whose first name rhymes with a state. TGIF, cause I am running out of jokes…
