As if being the driver in a car accident that resulted in the death of a minor weren’t bad enough, now it turns out that the “Prison Break” star, Lane Garrison, was operating under the influence of both drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash. A 17-year old boy perished as a result of the collision and the Beverly Hills Police Department is recommending the charge of gross vehicular manslaughter. Garrison met the young man, along with two 15-year old girls when the youngsters invited Garrison to a party. How “Almost Famous” of him. TMZ reports:
According to cops, Garrison’s blood alcohol level was at least .16. He could also be prosecuted for driving under the influence. A DUI could be prosecuted based on alcohol, cocaine or both. Since there was bodily injury, a DUI could be prosecuted as a felony.
At the party, Garrison was seen downing several shots of vodka and now TMZ reports that witnesses are claiming that the actor was doing lines of coke shortly before getting behind the wheel.
According to our sources, Garrison looked “very high” and his “eyes were glazed” at the the party, which was attended mostly by teenagers.
