Well, the day has finally come: Lady Gaga is actually now afraid of her fans. One in particular, who told her: “I want to die together with you.”
The singer, 24, took legal action after being sent a letter from obsessed Anastasia Obukhova, 26, who lives in NYC. She now has a a restraining order against her that warns her not to come within 500 yards of the Gaga. However, Gaga was spotted yesterday signing autographs for fans outside her hotel in Vienna, Austria, so it’s probably not impacting her that much.
The letter was intercepted my Gaga’s management and was uber-creepy…
“You come to my dreams. I want to die and I want to die together with you. I am not Mark Chapman. It is not only you who will die. I will shoot a bullet through my head too,” the letter read.
Chapman was jailed for 25 years for murdering Beatles legend John Lennon – shot four times outside his apartment in New York in 1980. “I was once only a metre away from Lady Gaga. She is one of the most free people in the world,” Obukhova said yesterday.
Scary. But I guess it was only a matter of time before Gaga spawned a crazy-ass fan who would take it too far.
