Lady Gaga, Elton John, and Bruce Springsteen Sing To Save The Rainforest
In what the New York Daily News called a night of camp and sincerity, a number of performers graced the stage of Carnegie Hall for the 21st Rainforest fund-raiser show.
Among the unique performances, Lady Gaga sang “Stand By Me” and then she and Sir Elton John did a medley of “Speechless” and “Your Song.” Later Elton played with the Madonna catalog, singing “Material Girl” and “Like A Virgin” and Bruce Springsteen renovated “Cuts Like A Knife.” At the end of the show the performers gathered to belt out “Don’t Stop Believin.”

Later performers and celebrity guests like Kate Hudson and Sting headed over to the Plaza for the after party celebration. Lady Gaga departed Carnegie Hall in jeweled catchers mask, because you never know when you are going to have to call a foul ball and should fancy doing it.
