Kanye West is finally making an honest woman out of Kim Kardashian and asked her to marry him. West popped the big question to his baby mama yesterday on her 33rd birthday. And in keeping with Kanye’s mercurial, overblown style, he made it a spectacle.
West, 36, rented out San Francisco’s AT&T Park, home of baseball’s San Francisco Giants, where he gathered Kardashian’s family and friends together and directed their attention toward the stadium’s bigscreen.
“He projected ‘please marry me’ onto the stadium screen for everyone to see,” an unnamed source told Us. From all reports, Kardashian said yes and got weepy.
The band played “Young And Beautiful” from film The Great Gatsby by songstress Lana Del Rey, followed by his own hit with Keri Hilson and Ne-Yo, “Knock You Down.”
After Kim said yes, Kanye slipped a 15 carat diamond ring onto her finger and fireworks exploded in the sky as the rest of her family ran out of the dugouts.
This will be the third wedding for Kim, she was married to music producer Damon Thomas and basketball star Kris Humprhries for 72 days in 2011. Hopefully the third time is the charm.
