Katie Holmes Recognized As ‘Face Of The Future’ By MaxMara
Katie Holmes was honored yesterday during Milan Fashion Week as the front-row star of the MaxMara catwalk presentation, one of Italy’s most famous brands which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
The actress was selected as the 2011 Women in Film MaxMara ‘Face Of The Future,’ which is given annually to recognize talent, style, and the recipient’s contribution to the community at large…
Holmes said she was hoping to be able to go shopping for clothes for daughter Suri, who turns five in April, and is regarded as one of the best-dressed celebrity children in the world. “There’s always time to squeeze in a bit of shopping,” she said.
As far as her outfit, she wore a MaxMara camel coat and a one-shouldered brown jumpsuit underneath, revealing a bit of a nice tan. She made a variety of interesting facial expressions while watching the show with her mother.
The award will be presented to Holmes at a gala in Beverly Hills in June and she joins the ranks of previous recipients Zoe Saldana, Emily Blunt and Elizabeth Banks.
