Katie Holmes is currently filming Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, co-starring William Hurt, Allison Janney and Cherry Jones in Kent, Connecticut, but took a timeout to swim with daughter Suri Cruise yesterday. Holmes wore her clothes while Suri opted for a bathing suit, but part of me wishes that Holmes would just put on a friggin’ one piece.
On the set, Holmes kicked backed on a dock with a mug full of beer while Jones sat opposite her in a crochet dress. The Seagull, set in rural New England was first written in 1985, and produced in 1896, according to the Daily Mail.
The story centers on a family who come together over Memorial Day weekend, where they confront the “volatile and fragile nature of love.”
Holmes and Suri were recently in New Orleans, where Tom Cruise is filming Oblivion with The Fighter’s Melissa Leo.
