Kathryn Heigl’s ‘One For The Money’ May Be Down For The Count
A new comedy starring Kathryn Heigl has been postponed for a second time…Maybe indefinitely. One For The Money paints Heigl as Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter after a man involved in her romantic past. This sounds a lot like things we’ve seen before. Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler’s Bounty Hunter to be exact. However, that name could be one of the reasons the film won’t make it to the silver screen in the first place. The film was meant to hit theaters on July 8th of this year but another film, Horrible Bosses starring Aniston. is meant to be released at the same time.
Horrible Bosses is full of A-listers so it makes sense to not go up against such powerful cast. Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Colin Farrell, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey just to name a few. So Lionsgate, made the decision to up the release date to June 3. However, they have reached another road block and its name is X-Men: First Class, a complete competition killer which is being released that same weekend. “We just want to find the right home for [the film],” a Lionsgate rep told EW, “and that [date] didn’t feel like it.”
