Kate Middleton Wears Green From Head To Toe To Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day At The Parade

Not everyone can pull off the color green, which can make St. Patrick’s Day kind of stressful, but this lady of royalty had no problem rocking green, literally, from head to toe.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attended the St. Patrick’s Day parade at Mons Barracks today, and managed to dress herself entirely in green. Catherine wore a green coat by Hobbs, a green Gina Foster hat, a Cartier shamrock brooch worn by royalty since 1901, and  green Emmy shoes. She even wore green eye shadow. Now that’s dedication.

Catherine was accompanied at the parade by her husband Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. Catherine handed out shamrocks to the Irish Guards, a tradition carried on since 1901. The couple looked happy to be seeing everyone and to be participating in the holiday.

Catherine truly does look great in green, which is a lucky trait to have for this holiday. Besides handing out shamrocks to the officers, she also got to greet the Regimental Mascot, a dog named Dohmnall, and two adorable little girls. I can see that motherly instinct coming out.

Speaking of motherly instinct, I wonder where baby Prince George was for all of this? If only we got to see the little guy decked out in green. He’s already the cutest baby around, and so that would have been a major cute overload.
