The Brit showcased regal designs today (February 12th) during New York Fashion Week, and most of the looks coming down the runway were ones we could totally see Catherine wearing to black tie events.
The black off-the-shoulder dress reminds of the saucy Christina Stambolian number the late Princess of Wales wore to the Serpentine Gallery in 1994. It was nicknamed the “revenge dress” because, that same night, Prince Charles admitted to having an affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles.
On one of her first dress-up outings following the royal wedding, Catherine wore a pale pink sequined gown by Packham to ARK’s tenth annual gala in London. The Duchess wore another Packam showstopper to an Olympic gala in May of last year, this time teal with delicate lace detailing.
