A very prego Kate Hudson sat down with Extra to talk about her new movie, Something Borrowed, and if she’s having a boy or a girl. Hudson said she used the pendulum test to unofficially determine the sex of her baby, tying a piece of her hair around a ring and holding it above her belly. If the ring circled, the baby is a girl. If the ring swings back and forth, it’s a boy. Hudson told Extra that the ring swung in a circle.
“You take a piece of your hair, and you take a ring… and you string it through–this is very witchy of me! And then what you do, is you hold it over your stomach. And then [if it moves in a] circle, [it's] a girl, and a boy goes back and forth.”
Hudson describes her pregnancy brain to being high. “Being pregnant is wonderful. You do get the pregnant mush-brain… you know what it’s like? It’s like getting stoned,” she said with a laugh.
Hudson joined baby-daddy Matt Bellamy and son Ryder, 7, for breakfast at their hotel in Buenos Aires April 2nd. Are there wedding bells in Hudson’s future? She skirted the issue, shyly telling Extra, “I don’t know.”
