While Pippa Middleton chose to cover up at a charity event in Richmond, UK last night (October 13th), Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge joined husband Prince William at a black tie event held by 100 Women In Hedge Funds at St. James’s Palace.
Wearing a striking red gown by Beulah London (v. much reminiscent of the figure-flattering Issa numbers the Duchess has worn in the past), the Duchess looked exquisite as she supported William, who’s been a patron of the organization for three years, which raised over $1 million for the Child Bereavement Charity.
According to the Daily Mail, the charity supports both children who are bereaved and families who have lost a child. In 2009, Prince William said, “Never being able to say the word ‘Mummy’ again in your life sounds like a small thing. However, for many, including me, it’s now really just a word – hollow and evoking only memories.”
