Karl Lagerfeld Aims To Take Over The World

March 3rd, 2005 // 4 Comments

I will be a scary world, in which everyone must where obtrusive dark sunglasses, and flutter hand fans 24/7.

“What I like is to be everywhere, to design collections everywhere and to have this kind of ubiquity in every sense of the word,” he told Reuters backstage after his autumn-winter catwalk display Wednesday.

Lagerfeld saw little change in the brand’s aesthetic.

“What is going to change is that on a very big scale worldwide we are going to produce a very wide diffusion range with jeans, with T-shirts and things like that,” he said. [via Reuters]

Conquering the world with T-shirts and jeans. Why didn’t I ever think of that?

  1. Call me Karla

I would totally be into wearing dark obtrusive sunglasses & carrying a fan. I kinda already do that.

  2. Ayyyy! The Lagerfeld taking over the world! Just as the Manolo has been predicting all along!

  3. Jon

Well, they don’t call him “Kaiser Karl” for nothing! :)

  4. Steve

For some reason I’ve always liked Karl and I can’t quite put my finger on it. The man’s got style.
