Karl Lagerfeld Slams The Fashion Choices At Will And Kate’s Royal Wedding

As scary/cool as Karl Lagerfeld is, he can be a bit of an a**hole.  Case in point, his commentary on a French channel during the royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton on April 29th.  According to the Daily Mail, when asked by Style.com why he let his mouth run, Chanel’s creative director said, “I commented on the English wedding for a state channel. An event like that is fun to do because I can make jokes. And jokes of the lowest kind are not against my mentality.”

Lagerfeld then tore into the wedding guests, though failing to mention exactly which ones offended him the most.  “I do the things they (French channel) ask me. But this was not a collection, this was the choices of this kind of woman for this kind of ceremony: the bad proportions, the ugly hats, the short skirts on fat legs.”
