Kanye West Wears Confederate Flag Jacket To Barneys, Says “Its My Flag Now”

Kanye Wests runs after paparazzi.
The Kardashians are at it again! Oops, no this time it’s Kanye West who’s creating some more controversy! The rapper sported a Confederate Flag jacket while doing some shopping at Barney’s in LA.

This all comes after the 36-year-old blasted the retail store on-stage. Barney’s is facing accusations of racially-profiling black customers in stores and Kanye wanted all his fans to know it!

Now, not only is he sporting the clothing, but the rapper is selling Confederate Flag merchandise at the Yeezus tour store.

During an interview with AMP Radio, he explains the rationale for including the controversial symbol on his clothing. He said:

The Confederate flag represented slavery in a way. That’s my abstract take on what I know about it, right? So I wrote the song, ‘New Slaves.’ So I took the Confederate flag and made it my flag. It’s my flag now. Now what you gonna do?

He also added:

It’s colorless also. It’s super-‘hood and super-white-boy-approved at the same time.
