Kal Penn Hired By President Barack Obama

April 7th, 2009 // 6 Comments

House star Kal Penn has found himself a new gig in politics. No, West Wing isn’t coming back on the air. Rather, the House star has been hired to act as spokesperson for the White House for the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities.

Best known for his starring role in the Harold and Kumar films, the 31-year-old actor is now taking on the job of associate director in the Office of Public Liaison.

A start date has yet to be set for Penn, but if you watched last night’s episode of House, you probably know he’s going to have plenty of time on his hands for now.

The episode where he committed suicide on Kutner was pretty sad.. but I’m glad he got such a awesome job.

    Good job, Kal.
