Actor Justin Timberlake arrived at a medical building in Beverly Hills, California on June 1, 2012.
Justin Timberlake donned a Hawaiian grass skirt and a lei on his head today as he helped bosses at U.S. retail giant Wal-Mart celebrate the company’s 50th birthday. This afternoon the pop star was seen arriving at a medical office in Beverly Hills, CA.
The pop star and actor took on the role of master of ceremonies for the firm’s annual shareholders meeting in Fayetteville, Arkansas and joked around with staff as they marked the anniversary.
Taking to the stage early on Friday at the Bud Walton Arena, Timberlake quipped, “It’s 7.20am. That’s how Wal-Mart does it? I need to work on my schedule!”
Timberlake at one point was shown in a backstage video. “My duties are going beyond hosting,” he said. “It seems to be running the gamut.” He then handed out towels and coffee pots to Wal-Mart staffers asking for those items before the star MC introduced a video about a family of Wal-Mart employees.
“It’s incredible to absorb and watch the impact Wal-Mart makes” on people across the globe, Timberlake said.
Country stars the Zac Brown Band, Colombian rocker Juanes and a cappella gospel group Take 6 provided the musical entertainment for the event.
