Friends With Benefits star Justin Timberlake loves actions movies, and may even want to do more of them. At a Comic-Con press conference for his new sci-fi/ thriller, In Time, Timberlake reminisced about the film’s action and his favorite flicks.
“I particularly love the action in this film. I grew up loving Lethal Weapon and First Blood, and Die Hard” Examiner reported Timberlake said. “Action movies that were performance-based. And it felt more real.”
For the 30-year-old actor, the thrill of action films isn’t so much because of special effects and costly techniques, but the skill of the star.
“When it comes from the character and the situation that they’re in, I feel like I’m with them a lot more because I want to see how they handle the situation that they’re in,” Timberlake said. “I don’t necessarily need to feel like I’m watching $200 million being spent on it. I want to know how it relates to the character. And to me, the good ones really do that.”
In Time, written and directed by Andrew Niccol and also staring Olivia Wilde, Amanda Seyfried and Alex Pettyfer, will hit theaters in late October. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think by posting in the comments section below!
