Lucky duck Julia Roberts has been cast opposite hunky Spanish actor Javier Bardem in the film adaptation of the book Eat, Pray, Love by Oprah Winfrey-endorsed author Elizabeth Gilbert.
In the flick, Roberts will play the role of a depressed divorcee traveling through Italy, Indonesia and India, who stumbles across a love interest in the form of Bardem’s character, Felipe.
It’s set for release in 2011, so we’re hoping this means that we can expect some on-set photos of Mr. Bardem in the not-so-distant future. Oh yeah, and Ms. Roberts too, we guess.
