A week after the Golden Globes, Transformers babe Josh Duhamel took part in a two-mile run on Santa Monica Beach, CA over the weekend to help raise money for the Haitian earthquake relief efforts. Duhamel hosted the event that was organized by the American Red Cross. Celebrity participants in the run included Molly Sims, Wizards of Waverly Place’s Gregg Sulkin, Glee’s Dianna Agron, and Matt Kemp from the LA Dodgers.
Christine Peake, CEO of the PeakPRGroup who represents the Red Cross Santa Monica chapter revealed to Monsters and Critics: “Josh was the sweetest ever though, so committed to the cause, sincere and gave time to everyone, I could see he really cared. Josh really means to make a difference, and the Red Cross are thrilled to have him on their side.”
There was a $10 donation to participate in the run, with all proceeds going to aid relief efforts in Haiti.
