Actor Alexander Ludwig‘s The Hunger Games co-star Josh Hutcherson has defended the teenager after he was kicked out of a Los Angeles club, insisting American politicians need to review underage drinking laws.

The 19-year-old sparked an investigation into security policies at The Sayers Room after he was spotted leaving the over-21 club on Tuesday night.

Asked to comment on the Ludwig controversy, the actor tells, “I think the age to go to war is 18… so I think the drinking age should be 18 as well.”

Watch and listen to Josh Hutcherson speak his mind…

Do you agree with Josh? Should the drinking age in the United States be lowered to 18-years-old? Share your thoughts in the comments.
