Josh Henderson, former boyfriend and co-star star of Ashlee Simpson, plays J.R. Ewing’s son, John Ross on TNT’s reboot of Dallas. Since its premiere last week, the cable drama has enjoyed success thanks to a good-looking cast and unresolved issues carrying over from the original series. Henderson is also riding high, having thrown out the first pitch at last Friday’s Dodgers-White Sox game in Los Angeles.
Celebuzz’s Taryn Ryder caught up with Henderson, and got down to brass tacks aka the randy sex scenes his character takes part in. So…does one prepare for it?
“No,” Henderson said. ”At the end of the day, those are the scenes that you just kind of have to go there, and take yourself out of everything real and just go for it. So, we had a lot of fun together. We got to do some fun things.”
Ryder mentioned that she spoke to Henderson’s co-star, Leonor Varela whose “twisted imagination” birthed a rather racy sex scene. ”It’s a fun story line for John Ross’ character as well because he has is people that he wheels and deals with. He kind of uses everyone around him as chess pieces,” Henderson explained. ”His goal is to stay one step ahead of whether it’s JR or Christopher. One of his main players in season one is definitely Marta. So, it’s a really fun story line and she plays such a great, twisted, torn… Her character is a lot of fun and you’re going to see a lot of fun stuff happen between us. And it only gets crazier and weirder as it goes on.”
