The Dark Knight Rises star and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is featured on the cover of next months’ GQ magazine wearing a three-piece ensemble with an enchanting smirk on his face with purposefully tassled hair and signature thick eyebrows.
Levitt is more than perturbed with GQs explanation of events concerning the death of his brother Dan Gordon-Levitt in 2010. The actor voiced his opinion on his personal site claiming that the coverage of this sensitive matter in GQ issue was “factually incorrect” and “irresponsible”. The actor was disappointed that the story failed to address the positive aspects that Joseph commented about his brother’s life rather than the tragedy and accidental death.
“While I asked the writer not to dwell on how he died, I did say quite a bit about how he lived, and how much he means to me. Dan was a brightly positive, genuinely caring, and brilliantly inspiring person, and I liked the idea of such a wide readership learning about him. My parents and I are disappointed with what the article chose to focus on regarding this sensitive subject.” wrote Joseph.
In his interview with the Gentleman’s Quarterly magazine, the star unleashed his thoughts on the entertainment industry, idolizers and his curated website that is an ‘open-collaborative production company’.
Gordon-Levitt stars in a slew of films, most recently his role as a police officer in The Dark Knight Rises - the final chapter of the Batman trilogy and 50/50 starring Seth Rogen.
