Now that Jon Gosselin has returned the approximately $200,000 withdrawn from his joint account with estranged wife, Kate Gosselin, he’s made his way to court to discuss the couple’s current financial state.
Kate did not attend the hearing, opting instead to attend a women’s conference, while Jon showed up with his legal team to request the amount of $33,000 that he claims Kate took from the couple’s account.
Kate’s lawyers released a statement in response to Jon’s request that she return the missing money. Mark Momjian tells E! News, “Despite his initial comments denying responsibility, we have established that Ms. Gosselin needed emergency relief to prevent her economic claims from being compromised.”
In addition, Momjian states in the excerpt, “We look forward to recouping additional monies taken by Mr. Gosselin at the time of the parties’ private arbitration hearings.”
How amicable of them.
